Here is a poem I recieved in school, I thought it was great, hope you take the time to read it.

The Bottom Line

FACE IT.

Nobody owes you a living.
What you achieve or fail to achieve in your lifetime
Is directly related to what you do
Or fail to do.
No one chooses his/her parents or childhood
But you can choose your own direction.
Everyone has problems and obstacles to overcome
But that too is relative to each individual.

NOTHING IS CARVED IN STONE.

You can change anything in your life
If you want to badly enough.
Excuses are for the losers.
Those who take responsibilty for thier actions
Are the real winners in life.
Winners meet life's challenges head on
Knowing there are no guarntees
And give it all they've got.
It's never too late or too early to begin.
Time plays on favorites
And will pass whether you act or not.

TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE

Dare to dream and take risks.
If you aren't willing to work for your goals,
don't expect others to.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!

Here is another poem that one of my friends wrote..I love it..thanks John!!!

The waves crashing against the rocks,
the sun setting as hazes of yellow and purple fill the heavans.
The dolphins play spirited by the upcoming night fall,
and the whales are just returning from a day of travel.
The sand is warm from the sun's glorious rays and
beautiful seashells line shore.

Here's another poem...and it's one of my favorites! Compliments to my friend

If I was dying,
Would you save me?
If I was crying,
Would you care?
If I was lying,
Would you betray me?
If in a crowd,
Would you dare?
Am I just one more
Girl you've 'been with'?
Am I just another
Name on your list?
If I could ask you
Just one question,
I would have you
Answer this:
What am I
To you?
A million plus questions
I want to ask you
The truthful answers
Would drive me insane
But if we meet
Not twenty years after,
Would you still
Recall my name?
Would you remember
Underground hallways,
Sweet joy found in
A tasteless kiss?
If not to see my face for always,
Could you still remember this?
I fear I'm nothing to you further
Then those nights away from home.
If this is true, tell me now
And I will leave you all alone.
Pre-confirmation of hated fear,
Let kindled passion pull us near.
I'll cure what blindness so you may see
How much
You mean
To me.
